Overview

Addressing many of the world's problems and issues requires an understanding of Economics. Our Economics program provides a framework for thinking about such issues in depth, allowing you to get to the heart of complex, topical problems. The methods of Economics can be applied to a wide range of questions and will prove useful in your future career. Most importantly, you will learn a variety of practical skills, including the ability to use and evaluate evidence, often statistical, to arrive at sound conclusions. We emphasize the practical application of Economics to the analysis of contemporary social and economic problems, and you will have the chance to conduct an economics research project supervised by a faculty member. By the end of the program you will have:
  • A detailed knowledge and understanding of the principles of Economics;
  • The skills to abstract the essential features of a problem and analyze it with the framework of Economics;
